So I am here in PA just running around trying to get soemthings done. It is rainy and icky out, but at least it is not freezing cold...I am thinking about baking cookies...
A bit of drama last night - some kids were playing around the house - ringing door bells etc, so my mother called the local police, as she just moved in and was not sure what was going on. Now I should mention at this point something about the town that the rents now live in: Nothing happens here! Proof of this - the police station closes for lunch and is only open 6:00am to 9:00 pm. (And in case your are wondering, if anything happens while the local police are not on duity, the township police take over).
It ends up the the family that lived here before were not the nicest people and that the kids around here use to do this to her all of the time. So the officer said not to worry and to just try to let the kids know that the other lady is now gone. But on another note - the officer was very cute and did not have a ring on and did not bring up a girlfriend, wife, etc...he and we talking on the front porch for about a half hour until a call came in and he had to go quickly... hummm...I am thinking about dropping off some holiday cookies at the station as a thank you...
