So here is the start of the story - I have worked in STD research for a long time now. I enjoy it. (How sick does that sound?) But here is the reason why. STD's are things that have been around since the start of time and no matter what people say or do - the numbers never go away, yes the can drop from time to time but usually they end up going back up.
So I enjoy reading Madscience's page (over at livejournal.com) and when he opened up a new page on porn (madp0rn) I was just expecting it to end up being like a place were people would talk about sex, maybe a few pictures of naked people, and things of that nature, nothing too bad, all things that I could handle...
I was SO WRONG!!! (As I discovered last night).
So I had not checked out the site before as I usually check the computer at work (not a good place at all) or at public computer places (another place that would not have been good). So, last night I started checking it all out. I was just sitting there horrified at the fact that these guys were just picking random women off the street (paying them in some cases) bringing them back to their places and having their way with these "ladies". They were picking women up at the supermarket, the drug store, the bus stop, eating at out door cafes, etc...So a few things were running through my head:
1. I can no longer go to the store (or any other place) by myself or with just a female friend (sometimes the guys picked up two friends!)
2. I will never talk to some random guy that trys to pick up any place again - so much for that cutie that I keep on seeing at the food mart...
3. All of these women were well "groomed"...I thought that very odd...No hairs out of place,okay, lets be honest - most did not have any hair...
4. These women seemed to be enjoying this all too much...And some of the stuff was just totally degrading to say the least...But they were just going at it like nothing was wrong...
5. No one was using ANY PROTECTION...
6. What the hell does "MILF" mean???? What am I missing here?
7. Some of these women (and men) are totally unattractive, but I guess that most people are not paying attention to how someone looks in cases like this...
It was like watching a bad car accident - I was really horrified, but there were just so many questions...I could not think of a way to ask Nick about it, it was a good thing that I was caught...
Nick explained (after laughing at my questions and comments, and trust me he laughed for a good long time) about these were all actors etc...They only have sex with one another and all are tested and a regular basis (oh like that makes it totally okay there! You are being exclusive - all together!?!)...He knew what "MILF" was, his explanation - he is male and he was in college...
So madpOrn made me ask a lot of questions...And in the end, I got the answers...Oh , but maybe someone out there could answer this question for us. As as all of this was going on we were watching Margaret Cho's stand up on HBO and she was talking about men of the same race having usually about the same size...Nick and I then went looking for an explanation on the web, but could not find anything - can someone shed some light on to this?
