A note to the Kitten:

Dear Kitten,
You were SO VERY brave yesterday! I was very scared when I came home and the front door was unlocked and opened (and you were happy to see me)! You stayed in the house and guarded it – and then ran out into the hallway to make sure that there were no more mean people around. I talked the building and property managers today and reminded them that you could have been lost (or stolen!) and that if the plumbers are going to come in when I am not around – they had better make sure that they close the door and lock both locks when they are not in the apartment and/or finished.
Thank you again baby for being so brave!

Finally - an update!

In the next two weeks I’ll be VERY busy, so if you are missing updates – it is nothing personal.
My Father, brother and my brother’s mother will be in town from Saturday until sometime on Sunday.
Thankfully, they have decided to stay at a hotel so that way I have less to worry about.
Things that have been going on as of late:
I really have not started to pack…I’ll be moving in about two weeks…
I have not finished my project or my term paper that is on the project for my EM class…
My PCR’s have not been working for the past week – it seems like pretty much everything that I touch right now in the lab either dies (bacteria) or does not work (PCR’s)…
And, for some odd reason my tissue cultures are totally fine (x’s fingers and PRAYS that I have not just jinxed myself) and usually they get contaminated and just grow oddly when the weather changes from winter to spring with all of the pollen etc in the air – I am not complaining – trust me – it is just odd…
The Kitten has been waking me up this week at about 5:30am which has been throwing my whole sleeping pattern off as I usually wake up between 6:30-7:00am…I know that I should just get up when he wakes me up, but then I feel like I am telling him that his behavior is acceptable, you know? But I will admit, he was very cute this morning as he was “petting” my nose and eyes just like I do to him – he was being sweet in that aggressive way…when I finally got up 7:45am, he did his usual breakfast song and dance – I swear, he gets so excited you can almost hear him singing “Breaaaaakfast Tiiiiime!!!”

I just need to get through the next two and half weeks and then life can hopefully return to normal….
